About Us
Cosmos Yachting was borne out of love for the sea. Yachting and boating means enjoyment at sea, the distant shores, the exploration of nature and the feeling of freedom. It also means seamanship, devotion, time and above all trust.
All this led Jordanis Chatziveroglou to bring Cosmos Yachting to life back in 1987 with a simple mission: "A trustworthy yachting company" by providing high quality service and by building a non-negotiable relationship of trust with our customers.
Over the years a network of services has been created, covering the entire spectrum of yachting - guided by trust, seamanship and human communication. With a presence in London, Munich, Athens, Seoul and Larnaca and the development of customer service bases in the world's largest marinas we work alongside leading industry names like Beneteau, Bavaria, Lagoon and Nautitech.
We’re constantly evolving to make sure we meet new challenges and developments head-on. We use pioneering technology to ensure that our booking platforms, online fleet management systems, and process automation are way ahead.

February 1987
Cosmos Yachting is born
Our odyssey commences with the establishment of Cosmos Yachting as a Single Person Company in Munich's Schwabing district in Germany.
January 1988
Our 1st boot show presense
We mark our participation at the BOOT show in Düsseldorf, a tradition we've upheld steadfastly ever since. Our presence extends to renowned boat shows across Germany, including "Hanseboot" in Hamburg, "Interboot" in Friedrichshafen, as well as exhibitions in Munich, Berlin, Austria, Switzerland, and Great Britain.

Witnessing significant growth, we transition from a Single Person Company to "Cosmos Yachting GmbH."

Creation of Cosmos Yachting LTD
Setting sail for international waters, 'Cosmos Yachting Ltd' is established in London
October 1992
Creation of Cosmopolit Reiseservice GmbH
Diversifying our services, we founded the IATA travel company "Cosmopolit Reiseservice GmbH," specializing in flights and travel arrangements for yacht charter clients.

Official dealer of Gib Sea Yachts
Earning the official dealership status in Germany for Gilbert Marine's "Gib Sea" Yachts

Creation of Cosmos Yachting s.a.
Extending our operations to Athens, Greece, we inaugurate "Cosmos Yachting s.a."

Official dealer of Fountaine Pajot catamarans
Securing dealership for France's "Fountaine Pajot" catamarans in Germany.

Creation of Nomicos Yachts LTD
In Athens, we establish "Nomicos Yachts LTD," a yacht management company specializing in Greek yacht charters, sales, registration, spare parts, and maintenance. Today, "Nomicos" boasts a network of 160 Yacht Charter Agencies worldwide.
1996
Our first bases in Athens & Corfu
Pioneering yacht chartering in Greece, we establish our first bases in Athens & Corfu with a fleet of 12 sailing yachts.
1997
Official dealers of Jeantot Marine and Dehler Yachts
Strengthening our portfolio, we become official dealers in Germany for Privilege catamarans by "Jeantot Marine" and Dehler Yachts by "Dehler Yachtbau GmbH" in Greece.

Entry in greek charter market
Our entry of 7 Dehler Yachts marks our foray into the Greek charter market.
1998
Participation in Atlantic Rally for Cruiser
Participation in the Atlantic Rally for Cruiser (ARC) with our Bavaria 50’.
1999
Our first Bavaria yachts
We acquire our first 12 Bavaria yachts to meet the burgeoning demand in the Greek charter market.
2000
Official dealers of Bavaria
Cementing our position, we become the official Bavaria Dealer for the Greek market.
2001
Creation of Cosmos technical service team
Addressing the need for specialized services, we establish a technical service company in Athens, focusing on Bavaria yachts.
2002-2022
Participation in major international marina tenders
Collaborating with the Greek construction company "Ellaktor s.a.", we participate in major international tenders, including the privatization of Greek marinas.
2006
Cooperation with Sunsail / The Moorings
Forming strategic alliances, we fortify our Yacht Charter agency through cooperation with "Sunsail / The Moorings."
2008
Our first base in Göcek, Turkey
Venturing into Turkish waters, we join forces with "Irmak Yachting" to establish our first charter base in Göcek, Turkey, with 12 Bavaria sailing yachts.
2009
Creation of Pinkuin Yacht Charter
Capturing new markets, we introduce "Pinkuin Yacht Charter," catering to young sailors.
2010
Creation of Poseidon Yacht Charter
Expanding our offerings, we launch "Poseidon Yacht Charter," specializing in Greek charters.

Membership in Yachfolio
We gain membership in "Yachtfolio," a MYBA database for Crewed Yachts, enhancing our brokerage network.

Authorized ADAC partner
Recognized as an authorized ADAC partner in Greece for Boot-Check services.

Official Bavaria dealer in South Korea with Hyundai Yachts
Strengthening ties with South Korea, we become the official Bavaria Dealer, expanding our presence at South Korean boat shows, KIBS in Seoul & in Busan and importing our first sailing & motor yachts.
